Beloved Pets

The Rainbow Bridge

When a pet dies, they go to a special place. There is always food, water and warm spring weather.
The old and frail are young again, the weak are strong and the maimed are made whole again.
They run and play all day together...but something is missing.
They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth.
So each day they wait until the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks up
The nose twitches..the ears are up..the eyes are staring..and then one suddenly runs from the group
You have been spotted; and when you & your special pet meet again, you embrace..
Your face is kissed and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated

Our pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge...

Star
1974-2007

HAHR Registry
Chestnut Mare
Foaled: June 10, 1974
Sire: Ferrasar - Arabian Stallion
Dam: Sally - Shetland Pony

Star was the first horse that I could say was all mine. I got her when I was 12 and Star was 14. I sure did learn a lot from her. She lived out her last days on the farm in retirement. We had rode many miles through the years. I won countless ribbons and trophys for western pleasure, games and Halter. Star loved kids and
gave many rides over the years

Mr Ed
1986-2009

AQHA – Non Registered
Mr. Ed
Foaled: 1986

Ed was semi-retired and used for team penning, trail riding, barrels, poles and
little jumps. He had a unique personality. If he could talk he would be just like Mr. Ed (TV show) He was not fancy is but he made up for it with his ability. He won lots of trophys and money in team penning. In 2006 we attended a Connie Combs barrel racing clinic.  Ed would pout if the horse trailer left without him.
